Dr. H.W.Senadeera Ariyasinghe
Dr. Ariyasinghe is a distinguished academic with extensive experience in Library and Information Science. He holds a Bachelor’s degree with honours from the University of Colombo, a Master’s in Philosophy from the University of Peradeniya, and a Master’s in Library and Information Science from the University of Colombo. He also earned a Diploma in TESL from the National Institute of Education and completed his PhD at the University of New South Wales, Australia. With a strong background in social research, he has collaborated with institutions such as WHO, Marga Institute, and the University of Colombo. Since joining the Board of Directors of Arthacharya in 1995, he has played a key role in guiding its development initiatives.
Mrs. Gangani Champika Wickramasinghe
Mrs. Gangani holds a Diploma in Microfinance from the University of Colombo and has over 25 years of experience in the Microfinance sector. She has participated in several professional trainings and TOT programs, including CGAP Product Development, Delinquency Management, and Business Planning for Microfinance Institutions. Beginning her career at Arthavida as a Community Facilitator, she now serves as the Regional Manager for Region Three. Mrs. Gangani joined the Board of Directors in 2020.
Mrs.I.Ivanthika Ranaweera
Mrs. Ivanthika holds Diplomas in Family Counselling, English Language, and Computer Studies. She has completed several professional trainings and TOT programs, including CGAP Delinquency Management, Leadership and Management, Social Mobilization, and Poverty Alleviation. Beginning her career at Arthavida as a Community Facilitator in 2001, she currently serves as the Regional Manager for Region Three. With over 20 years of experience in Microfinance, Mrs.Ivanthika was appointed to the Board of Directors in 2020.
Mr. K.M.Rathnasiri Kulathunga
Mr. Rathnasiri Kulathunga is a Justice of Peace and a member of the Ratnapura District Mediation Board. He holds a Diploma in Microfinance from the University of Colombo and has completed numerous local and international trainings and seminars. With over 29 years of experience, he is also a certified trainer of the SIYB Association of Sri Lanka. Mr. Kulathunga currently serves as a Regional Manager at Arthavida and is the President of the Arthavida Welfare Society. He was appointed to the Board of Directors in 2020.
Mr.R.P.Ruwan Rupasiri
Mr. Ruwan Rupasiri has completed numerous local and international trainings and seminars. With over 21 years of experience, Mr.Ruwan currently serves as a Regional Manager at Arthavida. He was appointed to the Board of Directors in 2023.
Mr.H.G.Jagath Nishantha
Mr.Jagath Nishantha holds a Diploma in Microfinance from the University of Colombo and has completed numerous local and international trainings and seminars. With over 25 years of experience, he is also a certified trainer of the SIYB Association of Sri Lanka. Mr. Nishantha currently serves as a Regional Manager at Arthavida. He was appointed to the Board of Directors in 2023.
Mr.B.L.Sumith Warna
Mr.Sumith Warna holds a Diploma in Microfinance from the University of Colombo and has completed numerous local trainings and seminars and also he holds a Diploma in Business Management from LPEC Campus. With over 22 years of experience, he is also a certified trainer of the SIYB Association of Sri Lanka. Mr. Sumith currently serves as a Regional Manager at Arthavida. He was appointed to the Board of Directors in 2023.
Mrs.U.G.Gayani Kumari
Mrs.Gayani Kumari has completed numerous local trainings and seminars. With over 24 years of experience, she is also a certified trainer of the SIYB Association of Sri Lanka. Mrs. Gayani currently serves as a Branch Manager at Arthavida. She was appointed to the Board of Directors in 2023.
